The tomei concept for this product is " to produce a great product for ultimate driving pleasure".
This tomei part is developped for track / club racing, and improves responsiveness due to a larger diameter pipe and weight reduction.
Sound was also improved next to increased performance and response.
The titanum material significally helps reduce the weight and due to a newly developped process cost have been reduced so tomei can pass on this saving.
Please notice when installing the complete tomei exhaust line or even part of it, we highly recommend to have your ECU tuned in order to prevent engine damage due to knock!
The straight cat pipe has a diameter of 60,5mm and is made from 1mm thick titanium.
Flanges are also made from titanium 2mm on the connecting flanges and 8mm on the flat flanges.
The combined weight of the center pipe is 3,6kg oppose to 8,5kg for the OEM part.
Caution: no TÜV available only for off road use!
