We are now able to offer you our very own I.L.motorsport sport header, made from stainless steel, we integrated a 200 cell metal race cat with a 4 into 1 design.
After several design changes we were able to find the optimal pipe design and started producing this masterpiece.
The collector houses a very nice formed exhaust gas pyramid that accelerates the exhaust gasses through the 200cell metal cat. The pipes have a 42mm diameter and weldseams are executed very nicely, making this a real head turner as well.
Due to the optical advantages this part can also be used on showcars.
No TÜV certificate available for this part unfortunately!
The matching headgasket for this part can be found here, the gasket for the mid pipe is supplied with the header.
Caution:
Due to the elimination of the OEM front cat, it is possible that you will get an error code because of the faster flowing gases (the OEM O2 sensor will not be able to measure correctly).
This problem can be avoided with our O2 sensor wiring extension. With it the sensor is moved about 25cm to the rear. The part can be found here.
The omission or modification of a catalyst changes the exhaust gas values and the mixture composition.
We therefore recommend that you always have the control unit adjusted in order to achieve optimum performance and best possible engine running with the installed exhaust gas components.
