The 2023 new typed Crank Lock Plate is not merely for locking the crank. The Scale Plate (360° protractor) can be also attached for adjusting the camshaft/valve timing.
The scale has divisions especially for engine work.
It can be used for the camshafts at both sides of intake and exhaust.
Measuring tools like dial gages, stands and so on are required additionally.
By this measurement, the crank angle with opening the valve is measured, and adjustment for the valve timing located at the center position should be done with using the slide camshaft pulley.
The Maruha Angle Degree Setting Tool can only be used in conjunction with the Maruha Service Tool MAR23012600.
This work should be carried out by an experienced and suitable specialist workshop.
