The Knuckle Arm Support as Nielex names this part ,reinforces the rear side of the front knuckle.
Especially when the MX-5 is moved sporty and fast , the developers of this component have noticed how much the mounts of the steering knuckle move in relation to each other.
This Nielex steering knuckle support is mounted exactly between the upper and lower wishbone mount on the front axle and thus counteracts this movement of the mounting points.
The manufacturer promises here a significant improvement in handling at faster driven curves .
These reinforcements are also noticeable at lower speeds. The steering behavior itself and the turn into the curve area is optimized and supported by this.
A noticeably improved driving behavior was recorded by the developers.
