Water Temperature Sensor.
This sensor provides the water temperature to the OEM / original instrument on the dashboard. The sensor is situated on the right side on the head of the NA 1.6l engine and on the left side on the 1.8l engine.

A genuine Mazda water temperature sensor, suitable for all Mazda MX-5 MK1 models. This OEM sensor measures the engine coolant temperature and provides accurate information to the vehicle’s systems, such as the temperature gauge or engine management.
