MX-5 Watercooled Oilcooler Maruha

The Maruha developped watercooled oilcooler system, sets new a new standard in engine cooling. In the tuning range this kit, specifically designed for the MX-5, offers greater benefits on performance engines by preventing overheating. The benefits of a watercooled system opposite to the more widely spread aircooled systems are obvious:

- Space-saving design
- Oil cooling during idle possible
- Installation not necessarily in front of radiator, not interfering with the cooling efficiency of the engine and aircon radiator.
- Very short oil lines
- Oil temperature regulated through the watertemperature
- Watertemperature +10°C = oiltemperature.
- Oil temperature is regulated in the ideal 90-100°C region

The oilcooler is mounted between two specially designed silicone cooling hoses.
The upper cooling hose has a vent opening and includes a 1/8 PT thread for installation of an optional water temperature gauge.
