Maruha Motors Oil Spray Nozzles , NA6 & NB6 , NA8 & NB8 Engines.

The piston is a component that is subjected to extreme stresses such as extreme heat , pressure and piston speed. Due to these continuous stresses, especially in performance enhanced engines, piston crown cooling plays an important role. Maruha Motors has developed special oil spray nozzles that provide piston crown cooling for MK1 & MK2 engines.

For piston crown cooling, oil jets are mounted in the engine block at the lower cylinder bore. These oiljets direct a targeted stream of oil from the crankshaft oil flow to the inner piston crown, lowering the combustion chamber temperature. By lowering the combustion chamber temperature, the components of the valve train and crankshaft drive are less exposed to thermal stresses, the tendency to knock is reduced and the risk of engine damage is lowered.

To optimize oil spray cooling, 4 Maruha oil spray nozzles are required.
