IL Motorsport has colaborated together with one of the leading manufacturers of hydraulic lifters, to produce this new hood lifter kit for the Mazda MX-5 MK3 from 2005 and up.
The system is easily installed using existing mounting points, no drilling is required. The lifters are black.
The result is a bonnet that lifts with ease, these lifters even slow the bonnet down towards the fully open position to prevent damages. The lifters are strong enough to hold the bonnet open even in a strong wind, yet have minimal resistance when closing
Caution! On MK3.5 models with OEM resonance chamber sytem, you will need to seperately order our adapter bracket NC2-5163!
This part is supplied with a technical approved certification.
