We took the design from the MK1 scuff plates added some lighting and used high quality stainless steel, the result of this MK4 scuff plate is simply genius.
The lights turn on when the doors are opened, and goes out when the door is closed.
When the doors are opened for a longer period of time, the lights are automatically dimmed to save your battery from draining.
Installation is very easy through use of double sided 3M tape and 2 screws with locknuts.
