Maruha Motors Upgrade throttlebody
Maruha is offering an upgrade throttlebody for a more optimized air intake for 1.6l NA models (manual gearbox). These refurbished OEM throttlebodies are machined with a computer operated CNC machine and enlarged by 2mm in diameter. On the NA model the throttle body will go from 60mm to 62mm. The throttle plate is also enlarged from 55mm to 57mm.
These flow technical optimations enable the car to take on more fresh air and create a better and agile respons. This optimation will mostly be noticed when the inlet tract and manifold are also optimized, as is usual in clasic engine tuning.
The bypass / idle unit and throttle position sensor are not supplied with this upgrade part, you will have to take these parts from your OEM throttlebody.
We recommend our customers to replace the two gaskets (idle / bypass and throttlebody).
For the 1.6l NA models we recommend these partnumbers:
Gasket throttlebody : NA0-701340 / NA0-701340-Z
Bypass / Idle gasket : NA0-701374
