When deep discharged, the electrodes of the westco battery will loose (partial) their current-conductive properties, resulting in only partial or complete los of charging capability.
Causes for deep discharge:
- small users (audio equipment, clock, control lights, LED's etc.)
- forgetting to switch off lighting
- bad charge due to defective dynamo
- defective or unsuitable charger
Please notice that a deep discharged battery voids contract. When the battery is not used for a longer period of time, the battery should be charged in a specialist worshop with a suitable charger. The plus and minus terminals then should be disconnected.
