Inconel® Bolts and locknuts by I.L.Motorsport

In our second attempt we have spared no cost, to produce our own moulds for bolts and nuts. To have a perfection solution for us and our customers. On highly stressed turbo systems it often occurs, that due to high thermal load the nuts and bolts loosen themselves or even break. On the normal street versions of our turbo-kits this luckily was not the case. Nevertheless we encountered these problems on higher boost pressure and temperature systems and were able to solve this problem. The I.L.Motorsport bolts are made from Inconel® and are produced in the following sizes: M8 x 1,25 and in M10 x 1,5. We selected a 40mm length , so that you can shorten the bolt if needed for your turbo application. The Inconel® nuts from I.L.Motorsport are a combination from several lock nut designs. We have incorporated the double slot design from the aircraft industry, so we have more clamping force. We also gave the nut an integrated collar for more support on the surface and higher clamping strength. Because of these design features, safety measures like lock-washers, safety wire etc. are not necessary anymore. To avoid lack of working space we gave the M8 nut a size 12 wrench width and for the M10 nut a size 14 width.
