These Maruha F112 three-material bearings are used for more heavily loaded engines, or racing engines. These engines are required more speed, engine power and temperature. A simple bearing can quickly reach its limits and cause bearing damage. Maruha Motors recommends this connecting rod bearing set in conjunction with the 87mm stroke crankshaft.
The three-material bearings consist of:
- Steel base plate
- Copper layer as running layer
- Nickel layer as barrier layer
- White metal/copper layer as sliding layer
Due to the special matching of the bearing dimensions, the bearing clearance can be optimized and kept as low as possible.
This bearing set consists of two bearing shells each with the dimensions
B 1x 1.504-1.508mm
C 3x 1.508-1.512mm
These three-material bearings are successfully used on our turbo conversions and Max5Cup vehicles.
