Maruha Motors offers the indispensable H-Beam steel connecting rods for
essential H-Beam steel connecting rods. The shot-peened and thus compacted surface offers maximum strength. The advantages of the H-shape are on the one hand the lower weight and on the other hand the extremely high strength. The connecting rods in high-performance engines are subjected to very high compressive, tensile and rotational loads.
Due to the reduced weight, the oscillating masses are kept lower and the entire crank drive is better relieved.
Maruha has greatly reduced the weight of the connecting rods compared to the standard connecting rods.
The connecting rods are balanced and processed in such a way that the center of gravity is in the middle of the connecting rod.
These measures improve engine running and reduce bearing loads, resulting in increased crank performance.
The H-profile offers the greatest resistance to the extreme pressure and bending loads that occur in turbocharged or high-compression engines.
Suitable for all Mazda MX-5 NA , NB & NBFL 1.8l engines from 1994-2005. Weight: approx. 490 grams.
