The Maruha ND12R Clutch Kit allows the later-generation Mazda MX-5 MK4 2.0L to be converted to the single-mass flywheel and clutch configuration used by the MAZDA SPIRIT RACING ROADSTER 12R.

Later MK4 2.0L models are equipped with a dual-mass flywheel from the factory, while the 12R uses a single-mass flywheel designed with sporty driving in mind. Maruha has transferred this concept into a complete conversion kit, providing a well-matched solution for converting the late-model MK4 2.0L to the 12R-style clutch system.

At the heart of the kit is a MARUHA lightweight chromoly steel flywheel weighing just 4.8 kg. The conversion to a single-mass flywheel reduces rotating mass and can provide a more direct and responsive engine and drivetrain feel – particularly beneficial for spirited road driving, winding roads and track use.
